STOCKHOLM GREEN Milk Paint by Homestead House 50g and 300g

Stockholm Green - This shade of green reminds us of the calmness of the Swedish woods or a day at the lake but is also a colour that is very true to Sweden´s capital Stockholm.

Homestead House milk paints are biodegradable!

Milk paint can be a stain, solid colour paint or embossing paste depending on how much water you add. It adheres to porous and low sheen surfaces that are clean. Never to chip or peel on porous surfaces such as raw wood and plaster. A higher sheen or a resist creates a unique chippy look. To avoid a chippy look, apply an initial coat of Fusion Ultra Grip/Bonding Agent 12 hrs prior.

Coverage

• 50g Tester 8-10 ft² (a side table, several mirror frames or small chair)
• 330g (1 Quart / 0.5 lbs) 70-75 ft² (a dresser and a side table)

Instructions

• Stir 1 part powder to 1 part water to a table cream consistency for a solid opaque coverage. Paint out a small sample to test.
• Add more water if too clumpy or more powder if too thin.
• Apply paint evenly to clean surface. Light colours need an extra coat.
• Dip brush to bottom and stir when loading to avoid paint separation.
• Dry/recoat/cure time 30 minutes.
• Sand to a smooth or distressed surface.
• Seal for a protective sheen and darken chalkiness with our Furniture waxes and food-safe VOC Hemp Oil. For high traffic surfaces use Gel Stain Top Coat or Tough Coat only on light surfaces
