The APS Metallic Foils provide an easy way to add that extra sparkle, shine or glow to your decorative painting projects. Metallic Foils are made from a thin layer of non-reactive metallic sheets that are fused to a clear cellophane.
These beautiful foils can be transferred to any surface of your choice with the help of our ArtsSyVille Embellishments Foil Adhesive or heat set with an iron (clothes). These foils allow you to control the amount of foil that is transferred, whether you want it all to or just a little.

This is a fantastic way to dip your toe into the craft of foiling things like jewellery. 10 generously sized different foils in a pack, (or 10 of your own choice), plus a very generous amount of foil adhesive. Depending on the size of what you are foiling, the kit will keep on giving.
I have been experimenting with this kit on FIMO clay jewellery. The results I have had have been stunning. It only takes 15-30 minutes for the adhesive to be dry enough to work on the foil as you only need a small amount depending on the project you are doing. I found that if your adhesive hasn’t quite dried enough because you’ve been too impatient (holds up hand), and is slightly too wet when trying to take the foil off, leave it, press back down and wait an hour or so then try again to remove. I did this and it came off cleanly and beautifully.
I used FIMO sealer to seal the foil and polymer clay. I was told by Leanne from Baillea’s that you can also use resin with the foils to seal them too.
For jewellery work, this foil and glue adhesive pack is first rate and the best I have used. I totally recommend it for polymer clay work.
I added a comment when ordering a sample set of foils and received some really helpful handwritten information and advice, which was much appreciated. The metallic foils are great, and the only difficulty is deciding which colour to order for my renovation project as they all look great when I tried them out!
