The name is a giveaway with Gator Hide - it’s tough as tough can be! This is a must for your kitchen refurb projects, painted tabletops, and anything else you think needs some bomb-proofing. Once applied, Gator Hide is water repellent, so you can clean and scrub your painted surfaces without damaging them.
Considering I ordered around Christmas I received my order very quickly. I have applied one coat of the gator hide to my chairs and so far so good. It’s only been on a few days so cannot verify, at this point, the strength of the product.

I’ve been ordering from Baillea’s for
Years. They are reliable and fast. Offer a great range of Dixie belle (which I love). My latest purchase was for Dixie belles gaitor hide which is always my finish for any piece. Protects it from everything and provides an awesome shine without all the buffing and polishing of wax. You can even use fine steel wool once completely dry for a natural shine you just can’t beat.

FABULOUS PRODUCT
I’ve been using Gator hide on all my latest projects. Bathroom cabinets and countertops, furniture tops and I’ve just finished my staircase. I used gator hide to top coat the bannister and the stair treads. Looks fantastic, isn’t slippy at all and is just so easy to use. So pleased with this product. I’m definitely a fan.

I use GatorHide to finish all my painted projects especially those with transfers. It’s a bit pricey but worth it as it doesn’t seem to yellow over time.
