Delivery Information


All orders are sent either by Royal Mail, Parcelforce, DPD or Evri, we aim to send goods out as quickly as possible in every circumstance.

Orders shipped outside of the UK will, however, take longer but hopefully they're worth the wait : International buyers will need to take care of any local customs/duty requirements.

Delivery Charges –


For Chalk Paint items, we only ship orders to addresses in mainland United Kingdom. Orders are delivered using either DPD or Royal Mail.  We use DPD  for orders containing at least one litre tin of paint.  For smaller orders, i.e. brushes, small project paint tins etc, we normally use Royal Mail.

Small Parcel  up to 1kg £3.95
Small Parcel 1kg to 2kg £4.95
Medium Parcel 2kg to 5kg £6.95
Medium Parcel over 5kg £9.95 or parcel may be split

(some UK postcodes may incur an additional delivery surcharge - see below for details).

International buyers, including EU-based nationals are responsible for payment of any local customs, tax and duty requirements.

All paints and other items are well packaged and secured.  Deliveries are made on shop open days only – Monday to Saturday, excluding Bank Holidays. Shop opening days and times

Saturday deliveries can be arranged and will incur an additional surcharge - please contact us on for further details. We cannot guarantee next day delivery and cannot be held responsible for any delays incurred once the parcel has left our premises. 

Delivery timings are not guaranteed and there are postcode exceptions where delivery may take longer.  Deliveries can be made anytime between 7am and 6pm. In the event of no-one being in to take delivery, a parcel may be left with a neighbour, designated place (i.e. porch) or may be taken to a local Post Office, where it can be collected.  You will require some form of identification to claim your parcel.

If delivery is attempted and no one is in to take the delivery and it cannot be left with a neighbour or in safe place, then it is the responsibility of the customer to contact the courier and rearrange a delivery at a time that suits or to arrange to collect the parcel from the courier.

We will ship to the address supplied by you in the shipping address part of the order.  If this address is incorrect, we will not be held responsible for any loss of goods or compensation thereafter regarding goods or shipping costs.

Unfortunately we cannot guarantee all of our shipping times as on occasion the courier companies and Royal Mail may not meet their quoted times.  It happens but we cannot be held accountable for delivery delays.

Once an item has left us it is the responsibility of the delivery company to adhere to it's own delivery times.


There are a small number of postcodes, usually in remote areas, where we cannot guarantee delivery within our usual timescales and cannot offer next day delivery.   In addition, the following postcodes within the UK may incur an additional surcharge of £10.00 per delivery for Chalk Paint orders containing at least one litre of paint.  We will contact you after receiving your order to arrange payment of the delivery surcharge.  

We will be happy to refund your order in full prior to dispatch should you decide not to pay the delivery surcharge:-
